Italy’s anti-drug education initiative has gone beyond more than one million educational anti-drug booklets distributed in recent weeks. The initiative forms part of the drug awareness programme known as “The Truth About Drugs”, which aims eu news live to provide accessible knowledge about commonly abused substances and their short- and long-term effects.
Approximately 500 volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in schools, businesses and urban centres. The campaign focuses on helping young people make informed decisions, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a clear way.
The campaign is connected to broader humanitarian initiatives supported by the Church of Scientology, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
